Welcome to my site! My name is Melisa, and my ministry is called Inviting Joy. I’m a spiritual director and an ordained minister ready to walk alongside you as you grow in your faith.
I studied spiritual direction at San Francisco Theological Seminary, which is a part of the University of the Redlands Graduate School of Theology. I desire to help others listen more deeply to God’s voice in their lives, discern their spiritual path, and grow into a greater sense of peace.
With a background in ministering in a church, in the county jail, and among people in recovery, I offer compassionate, non-judgmental observations that make space for prayer, reflection, and spiritual growth. My role is to accompany you with attentive listening and thoughtful observations as you navigate life’s joys and challenges.
Spiritual direction is flexible and can support you whether you want to expand your prayer life, trying to discern a specific decision, or are longing for deeper connection with the divine. If you’re ready to take this step in your spiritual journey, I would be honored to accompany you.
